What training classes do you offer?

The Beauty Bar Academy offers trainings in classic and volume lash extensions, microblading, ombre brow and lip blush. We also offer threading, wax, lash lift, brow mapping and lamination trainings.

What comes with the trainings?

Each training comes with a manual, kit, certification and live model training. Training hours vary based on specific training.

Does trainings count as continuing education credits?

YES! The trainings count towards continuing education credits.

Do you offer payment plans?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We offer buy now, pay later options at checkout. You also have the option to pay deposit to register and pay remaining balance on the day of training. You can also pay in full when registering for training.

Question 5

Which trainings require an esthetician or cosmetology license to perform services legally?

Accepted Answer

Lash extensions, Lash lifts, Brow Lamination and Waxing requires an esthetician or cosmetology license to perform the service legally in NC. While we do not require a license to take the training please note one is required to begin accepting clients.

Question 6

What license is required to perform microblading and/or ombre services?

Accepted Answer

NC requires a tattoo permit to perform these services as they fall under the tattooing umbrella. Dont worry! Please contact your county to see requirements of obtaining a tattoo permit.

What experience level is required to take a training?

All trainings are beginner friendly and taught so you can understand the ins/outs of each service. All you need to do is come eager to learn and we will do the rest!

Is it possible for me to visit your location prior to registering for a training?

What are the days and hours for trainings?

Trainings are typically held Saturdays through Mondays. Please check the “Training Schedule” tab to see the schedule for our most popular training. Any training listed that does not have a pre-set schedule is an one on one training and can be held any day of the week. Please contact us directly to schedule an one on one training. Trainings typically start at 9am!

How far in advance should I register for a training?

At minimum, you should register for a training at least two-three weeks in advance!
